Programs

Below is a list of programs and presentations I enjoy doing. I can tailor a presentation to your needs. My experience includes ten years as a pastor, teaching writing classes at Metro Tech, leading numerous retreats and workshops and discussion leader at Bible Study Fellowship,  I am willing to speak, lead discussion, or facilitate an event on scripture-based subjects that meets your organization planning or requests.

Scripture Based Programs

Seeking Balance:In an Out-of-Balance world. This is a 6-8 week Bible study includes a notebook with journal prompts for group discussion. Based on Luke 10:27 the study focuses on God’s desire for balance for our lives. I can also do a one-hour class introducing the subject.

Spiritual Journaling. One of my favorite subjects, can be done as a one-hour class or weekend retreat. Includes lots of hands-on participation.

Perfect Peace. Christ says, “My Peace I leave with you.” (John 14:27) What does that look like in our daily lives and in crises times? This was designed for a weekend retreat.

Creating Spiritual Goals and Resolutions that Stick. We are all encouraged to write goals and todo lists, but have you ever considered writing goals to nurture you spiritual life? This is a one-hour workshop. (Program is great for January.)

Food, Feasts and Family. The table is the central point for family celebrations. Christ invites us to his table. In this program we talk about Biblical and present day celebrations. Optimal for this class to revolve around some meal preparations, can be one meal or weekly for 3 weeks.

Discovering Sacred Balance–A Prayer Journal: How to make the most of your quiet time with God.
